Reliable opening at 65% Ue, unable to open at 30% Ue.

Opening and closing time of high-voltage circuit breakers; Contemporaneous concept

Closing time: the time interval from the moment the circuit breaker closes the circuit to the moment the contacts of all poles come into contact

Opening time: The time interval from the moment the circuit breaker receives the opening command to the moment all pole contacts separate.

Simultaneous: The time difference between three-phase opening and contact during the opening and closing operation of the circuit breaker (phase to phase synchronization), as well as the time difference between the opening and contact of each contact in the same phase (new contact synchronization).

Vacuum switch closing bounce time: During the closing operation, the time interval between the first contact of the moving and stationary contacts and the final contact is generally required to be ≤ 2ms.

Measurement methods for opening and closing time and synchronization of high-voltage circuit breakers

(1) Electric stopwatch measurement

(2) Ray oscilloscope measurement

(3) Measurement of high-voltage circuit breaker characteristics tester (wiring divided into control and signal parts)

Attention:

It is best to connect the auxiliary switch contacts in series in the control circuit, and cut off the control current through the action of the auxiliary switch.
