The DC resistance tester is mainly used to detect the resistance value of the DC resistance. It is specifically used to determine the welding or connection quality of the leads in a closed circular circuit, whether there is a turn to turn short circuit or open circuit in the transformer winding, and whether the contact of the tap changer is good. The testing of the DC resistance of the transformer winding is an important test item in the handover test and preventive test of the transformer.
The DC resistance tester is equipped with a large capacity lithium battery, and the instrument and testing line are designed with a machine line integration. The product is compact and easy to carry. The product is not only suitable for measuring inductive specimens such as transformers, transformers, and reactors, but also for measuring resistive specimens such as copper bars, wires, and switch contacts. The instrument testing speed is fast and the accuracy is high.
The testing and operation methods of the DC resistance tester are as follows:
1. Wiring of DC resistance tester
Connect the tested product to the testing terminal of the machine through a cable, ensuring a secure connection to prevent false connections.
2. Range selection of DC resistance tester
Turn on the power switch, and the display screen will display "Welcome". At this time, you can use the current button to select the appropriate current. The battery mark in the upper right corner displays the battery level. With each press of the selection key, the display screen will scroll to show the various currents and ranges.
3. Testing of DC resistance tester
After selecting the current, press the test button to start the test. The display screen shows the charging current value and prompts "charging". When the current stabilizes, the display screen displays the test current used, and also prompts "testing" and "continuous testing". Then, the "display button" starts to flash, displaying the current value and resistance value. Press the test button to re measure, but the current remains unchanged.
When the selected current is too small during testing, it will prompt "Choose a high current because a low current is not conducive to signal stability. At this time, the current should be replaced to increase the output current of this instrument. In special cases, the measurement can continue without changing the range.".
When the selected current is too high during testing, due to the high resistance, the instrument current cannot be charged. At this time, the appropriate current level should be replaced and retested.
4. Testing completed
Press the "reset" button, the power supply of the DC resistance tester will be disconnected from the winding, and discharge will occur at the same time. An audible alarm will sound, and the display screen will display "discharging" and return to the current selection state. At this time, there is no need to wait for the discharge to end. You can select the current and press the test button to test directly. After the discharge sound is completed, you can rewire for the next measurement or remove the test line to end the measurement.
5. When the battery is low, it displays: "Low battery, please charge"
At this time, please turn off the power switch and insert the charger into the charging jack to charge. The red indicator light of the charger indicates that it is charging. When the charging indicator light turns green, it indicates that the battery is fully charged. Do not over discharge the battery, otherwise it will damage the battery.
