1. Note that only professionals with a "high-voltage test certificate" can operate and use a DC high-voltage generator.

2. In the process of using the DC high-voltage generator, you must strictly follow the rules of the "Power Safety Regulations". At the same time, before the test power supply enters the device, add two obvious disconnection points. Before replacing the test product and wiring, pay attention to confirm that the two power disconnection points are clearly disconnected.

3. The grounding wires of the tester control box, the voltage doubler and the test product must be connected before testing. The ground wire of the test circuit is strictly grounded according to the equipment manual.

4. The discharge of the large capacitance sample should be discharged through the 100Ω / V discharge resistance rod. When discharging, pay attention that the discharge rod cannot immediately contact the test article, but gradually approach the test article until a certain distance begins to free discharge and hissing. When there is no sound, you can use the discharge rod to discharge, and then directly connect to the ground wire to discharge. 

5. During the test, the test personnel should not shake hands or touch the grounding position with their hands, otherwise there will be a slight electric shock. This is because when the DC high voltage is 200 kV and above, the test personnel wears insulating boots and stands outside the safe distance, however, due to the influence of the spatial electric field distribution of high-voltage DC ions, several adjacent standing bodies carry different DC potentials. This phenomenon is more pronounced in dry areas and in winter, but it generally does not cause harm to people due to its low energy.

6. After the test is completed, be sure to hang the ground wire to the high-voltage output terminal before removing the high-voltage lead.

7. Pay attention to the reliable grounding when using the test instrument. It is forbidden to hold the high-voltage outlet cable in your hand, just in case.
