What Are The Technical Requirements of The Earth Resistance Tester?
The Earth resistance tester is carefully designed and manufactured for field measurement of grounding resistance, soil resistivity, grounding voltage, and AC voltage in combination with the new lightning protection grounding resistance detection standard. The test current reaches 20mA, using digital and micro-processing technology, 4-wire method, 3-wire method and simple 2-wire method measure the grounding resistance. The introduction of FFT (fast Fourier transform) technology and AFC (automatic frequency control) technology automatically identifies interference and selects the measurement frequency to minimize the impact of interference and provide more accurate ground resistance value.
It has unique anti-interference ability and environmental adaptability, good consistency of repeated testing, and ensures high accuracy, high stability and high reliability of long-term measurement. It is widely used in the measurement of grounding resistance, soil resistivity, grounding voltage, AC voltage of electric power, telecommunications, meteorology, oil field, construction, lightning protection and industrial electrical equipment.
1. The grounding resistance tester should be placed at a distance of 1 to 3m from the test point, and should be stable and easy to operate.
2. The terminals of each terminal must be in good contact and securely connected.
3. The two ground electrode pins should be set at 20m and 40m to the left and right of the ground body to be tested; if the two pins are connected with a straight line, the ground body to be tested should be basically on this straight line.
4. Do not use other wires to replace the 5m, 20m and 40m long copper wires provided with the instrument.
5. If the ground resistance tester is the center of the circle, the minimum angle between the two pins and the tester must not be less than 120°, and they cannot be set in the same direction.
6. The soil quality set by the two pins must be firm, and cannot be set in muddy ground, backfill soil, beside tree roots, grass, etc.
7. The ground resistance can only be tested after 7 consecutive sunny days after rain.
8. The ground body to be tested should be derusted first to ensure reliable electrical connection.
