I Preparations

1. Before the load test of DC high-voltage generator, the high-voltage shielding microammeter shall be installed on the high-voltage output end of the double pressure cylinder, and the corresponding special high-voltage wire shall be connected to the test article and the microammeter respectively.

2. Check the test object, DC high-voltage generator, double pressure cylinder, discharge rod, grounding wire and connecting wire of test object to ensure the correctness, check whether the grounding wire is connected correctly, check whether the high-voltage safety distance is within the standard range, and formally start the high-voltage test after ensuring that there is no error.

II Testing

1. After the test article, DC high voltage generator and other instruments are checked and confirmed to be normal, press the single-phase AC 220V power switch, the green light is on, indicating that the power is on, and the DC leakage and DC voltage withstand test are officially started.

2. Press the red button, the red light is on, indicating that the high pressure is on, and wait for the high pressure value to rise.

3. When adjusting the voltage regulating potentiometer, it shall be carried out slowly in clockwise direction. The output value shall start from zero and keep rising. The speed shall be 3-5kv per second. For the test object with large capacitance, the speed should be slower when boosting, otherwise it is easy to produce voltage overshoot. At the same time, pay close attention to the ammeter to ensure that the charging current cannot exceed the larger value of the charging current of the DC high voltage generator. When the current or voltage rises to the target value, the value of voltmeter and ammeter shall be recorded in time according to the specified time.

III After testing

1. At the end of the test, depressurize the test object, zero the voltage regulator potentiometer, and then press the green button to indicate that the high voltage has been cut off, and turn off the power switch.

2. After the voltage withstand test of DC high-voltage generator is completed, the test object should be discharged several times with discharge rod. Only after the discharge is completed can the test object be approached for subsequent disassembly to ensure safety.
