The vertical lifting construction of the No.1 drainage tunnel of the Taipingling
Recently, the No. 1 drainage tunnel of the Taipingling Nuclear Power Project took 92 days to safely and smoothly complete the final vertical lifting of the drainage riser, marking the successful completion of the first underwater vertical lifting construction. This is the first complete practice of vertical lifting construction of drainage tunnels within the project, which has accumulated valuable experience for the drainage tunnel engineering within the project, effectively carrying and continuing to verify the construction feasibility of the project "Hualong No.1".
The first construction of the vertical lifting of the No.1 drainage tunnel faces many challenges, such as limited experience, difficult construction organization, complex geological conditions, and harsh conditions. The engineering production team has conducted multiple rounds of meticulous and rigorous construction deduction and risk identification for the vertical lifting construction. Experts have been organized multiple times to demonstrate and optimize the construction plan and emergency plan, and targeted emergency drills have been carried out. At the same time, multiple technical surveys have been conducted nationwide to optimize the sealing and emergency measures for underwater vertical lifting water and sand, ensuring that the entire construction process is foolproof.
The successful completion of the vertical lifting construction of the drainage tunnel will effectively promote the balanced progress of the Taipingling Nuclear Power Phase I project and provide valuable experience for the construction of similar projects in the future. The follow-up engineering production team will continue to deeply practice the work style of "strictness, prudence, meticulousness, and practicality", adhere to the work philosophy of "safety first, quality first, and pursuit of excellence", identify and prevent various risks in tunnel construction in advance, and steadily promote the tunnel construction of the Taipingling Phase I project with high quality, high standards, and steady progress.
